Completely renovated in 2008 and now channeling Frank Lloyd Wright, this chic yet family-friendly Aspen lodge is full-service, including nightly après gatherings, complimentary breakfast, fitness room, and heated pool and hot tub. The 126 rooms have upscale touches like leather headboards and marble baths, and all rooms except the standards have kitchenettes (the suites have full kitchens). Shuttles to and from all four of Aspen's mountains make getting around pretty painless, and the small but efficient lounge has a tasty menu of basic fare—pizza, soups, salads—to tide you over while you make that most difficult of Aspen decisions: where to go for dinner.
