I just got done with a trip to the Bahamas with Captain Steve and loved it. Yes he can be a bit gruff at times however he usually has a reason for it. Our students learned more about leadership and community in one week than most of them have learned in their life. I would say that if you want an easy float on the sea that helicopter parents would be comfortable with than this is not for you. If you would like an experience that truly pushes your kids to be better and teaches them real life skills and changes their lives you have come to the right place. Steve will cater the trip to your liking so let him know why you are taking this trip and what you want out of it. My guess is that the other review on this site is from a parent that didn't realize that kids need to be challenged as they are coddled enough. Cheers Jeff
