Bahamas see + do

When you're heading for a destination with 700 islands, you can expect most activities to take place in and around water. Even when your excursions involve historic sights, it's likely they'll still have something to do with the sea and seafarers. Although many vacationers are probably heading to the Bahamas so they can vegetate and sun themselves on a patch of sand or in a quiet lagoon, there are plenty of adventurous activities on the islands that should not be missed. By all means, catch the sun's rays, but be sure to spend time exploring the country's national parks and nature preserves, as well as snorkeling and diving.
