I have been to Bali several times and have tried local tour services as well as pre booked in the US before I travel. I have found the best way to get around and see just what I want to see or sights off the beaten path is to hire a local driver. I hired a local driver for two days and not only saw everything I wanted but let him recommend several stunning sights. He took me took a local village and I was able to have lunch with one of the families. He also took me shopping in areas not over run by tourist with much better deals. I only wish someone had told me of this before I wasted so much time and money on pre planned tour services. I could go anywhere I wanted with no groups, no crowds and could say oh that looks nice stop here. This is by far the best way to see the real Bali. report a problem
