These days it seems like every other person on the sidewalks or beaches around Kuta is trying to get you to scratch a box on a card and see what you've won. If you do scratch, they are invariably surprised to discover you have won a major prize and need your contact details. This is followed up by a phone call or personal contact with a van ride to a luxury hotel to have a meal and collect your "prize". It turns in to a relatively high pressure pitch for time share condos. The prize appears to be real - a paid stay at one of their time shares around the world, but the half day away from your vacation to get your prize is probably better spent enjoying your vacation. report a problem
