Traveled with a girl friend to Belize. The last stop on our tour was the Matachica Resort. Matachica exceeded our expectations in every regard. The staff was knowledgeable and took care of us from the start including the complimentary water taxis. We took advantage of the spa services, ample water activities, beach front, and the restaurant. The restaurant at Matachica was hands down the best food in the vicinity.
It was the perfect escape, quiet but with plenty of activities if we wanted them. We've already started planning our next trip!
