The open-air restaurant at the Frangipani Hotel has built its reputation on fine West Indian food and a broad selection of wine. The menu is traditional Creole-Caribbean, accented by fresh ingredients from Bequia and nearby islands, such as fish, lobster, and conch from the Grenadines and fruit and vegetables from St. Vincent. The wine list has bottles from Europe, South America, Australia, and California. A meal here would not be complete without the famous lime pie. Come Thursday nights for the weekly barbecue and Jump Up (dancing), with live steel-band music and an elaborate buffet including steaks, seafood, and that tasty pie.
Closed early September through mid-October.
