Don't overlook the Charlotteburg castle. An amazing piece of history and often overlooked. For Americans to appreciate, much of the history of WWII is all around (or under) you. For those of us who grew up with the Cold War and the Berlin Wall, this city is amazing. Finally be sure to see the modern dome atop the Reichstag. So much to see, so little time ! The bus system is great and is the way to travel. Take the time to understand the routes. They are well marked and run well. report a problem
