In the Italian section -- North Boston -- go to Strega for lunch. The food is absolutely fabulous and the atmosphere is old world/new world Italian. La Strega means "the witch" so you know a bit to converse with the waiters when you arrive. If you get there by noon, wait for the church service to get out at the Old North Church. Then go in and grab a box pew near the front. A tour guide will give you a short and very informative lecture on the history of the church, especially, of course, the facts behind Paul Revere's ride and the lanterns in the belfrey. report a problemPosted on: December 28, 2012 at 12:43AM
