Cambridge is one of those places that seems to withstand the passage of time, as things actually haven't change that much in the past 15 years or so. If you are in Boston, take half a day and spent it in Cambridge. There is also an advantage in the fact that most businesses and restaurants are concentrated around the Harvard Square area, making the whole experience a very pleasant walk. Wander around Harvard Square and Harvard's main campus. Have a coffee in one of the innumerable cafes, do some shopping at a vintage resale shop like Second Time Around now located at 82 Charles Street or go to the Harvard Coop for some serious Harvard memorabilia and tons of fun stuff. Have lunch or brunch at Casablanca (Mediterranean) or at Upstairs on the Square (American). Sip some tea at Tealux on Brattle Street. For a delicious beer, go to John Harvard's Brew House. For a fun, young hangout go to The Garage on JFK street, where there are cool shops, small restaurants and a lot of young people. Hope you enjoy!!!! report a problem
