Two great spots are the Museum of Natural History. Plan a whole day if you can. Besides all the usual stuff like great dinosaurs, there is a special Children's Room just chalk full of great hands-on stuff..plus a section for babies under a year old that includes comfy rocking chairs for tired parents. Even the museum cafe has great food at reasonable prices. The salad bar is fantastic. Another great kid's place is the Boston Commons park with the rentable Swan Boats for paddling around the lake and the famous statues of the duck family from the classic children's book " Make Way For Ducklings"...for older, school-aged children, a guided or self-guided tour of the "Liberty Walk" is really fascinating and educational. report a problem
