Boston's Publick Garden is glorious with its massive trees, lagoon and picture-perfect island. But, you can see more of Frederick Olmstead's "emerald necklace" network of parks by taking the "T" (subway) from there all the way to the end (Forest Hills stop) for the world famous Arnold Arboretum (5 min. walk from the station). So many trees and shrubs and vines with paths to great lookouts of the area. report a problem
