Trendy, tiny Wish sells high-end (read: expensive) women's clothing, from the classics (Diane von Furstenberg is a staple) to contemporary (Trina Turk, Alice + Olivia, Hudson, Ella Moss, Nanette Lapore, and Splendid). Although the space is a little claustrophobic, the salespeople usually won't hover or intrude. And while it's pricey, there are frequent deep sales, especially at seasons' ends.—Jon Marcus
