Fernando de Noronha is an arquipelago off the northeast coast of Brazil, which you can only get to by air from Recife or Natal. Most of the islands are a national park and protected. There is only 1 hotel and otherwise, all the accommodations are what is called "Pensao", or bed & breakfast joints, which are relatively simple and nice and comfortable for the most part. Very few foreign tourists, mostly Brazilians, and due to limiations on how many and how long the tourists can stay, beautiful getaway for those looking for the natural beauty of Brazil. You have to book with a tour agency to get there, but worth the trip if you can. Some of the most beautiful beaches and diving in Brazil, or the world for that matter. report a problem
