Don't stay here if you want to get any sleep at night

Over the course of a week I stayed at the Alevar Palace, in Buenos Aires, twice. Twice my sleep was disrupted by a Mexican guest and a band he brought back to his room. On my 2nd visit they rolled in at 4am and stayed playing loud enough for me to hear it 2 floors away. I called and front desk to report the disturbance (I can't imagine I was the only one) and they said they would handle it. Three more calls and an hour later the music finally stopped. I hardly think my experience reflects the quality one would expect staying at one of the "Leading Hotels of the World."
