You must eat here!Posted on: September 16, 2008 at 9:54AM
I had lunch here in April '08 with three friends, and it was one of the highlights of a two-week Argentina trip. The room itself is worth the visit - very chic but in a very understated way, with chairs designed by the chef and leather-lined (!) walls (trust me, they're beautiful.) They never fill the room to more than 20% capacity, so it feels genuinely intimate. The wait staff are fantastically nice and knowledgeable, and the food is outstanding - elevated takes on traditional Argentine dishes, without getting too fussy. We stayed for about three hours, drank several bottles of wine, then stumbled back to the hotel for a nap. Perfection!
