IIf you are planning a trip to food-mecca SF and surrounding areas, check at www.sfgate.com and get spot-on restaurant reviews that the locals use. You can narrow by location, by price and they even have "Bargain Bite" reviews for those on a budget. We live here and swear by these reviews. Wish all cities had them. They give date of review and link to maps. There is also a listing for the Top 100 - not to be missed.
