New York design bigwig Charlotte Moss makes these side-by-side home decor bungalows in the sleepy beach town of Summerland a must-stop whenever she's in town. Nate Berkus browses here, when shopping for Oprah's Montecito digs. And so do Rob Lowe and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. One cottage is dedicated to all things for or inspired by the garden—from vintage containers and Moroccan lanterns to rare orchid specimens, boxwood topiaries, and tabletop succulent gardens. Next door you'll find homemade accessories from all over the world, including Alpaca throws from Peru, artisan-crafted dishware from San Miguel, and the store's own line of organic fabrics in earthy tones and botanical prints. It's pretty expensive, but fun to explore.
Open Mondays through Saturdays 10 am to 5:30 pm.
