Check out the 'Greenest Museum in America', Cabot's Pueblo Museum, Desert Hot Springs, CA! Cabot's Pueblo is one of the most fantastic structures in Southern California. Cabot Yerxa started building the Old Indian Pueblo in 1941 from recycled lumber. Telephone poles and railroad ties were used. Bent, rusty nails were saved and used again. Odd shaped glass pieces were used to construct windows. Cabot worked more than 20 years on the building.
