The Girl and the Fig: a scrumptious place to lunch in Sonoma between wine tastings and vineyard tours. Country french inspired, the artisan cheeses/fruit and port dessert is a work of art and a culinary voyage, not to be missed! Take home a jar of the red onion confit as a souvenir. Matanzas Creek Winery: Visit Matanzas / Bennet Valley, Sonoma in June when the heavenly scent of lavender infuses the air. 4500 plants are harvested late June or early July.
