I never thought I'd get into a hot air balloon, but I'm so glad I did! It was spectacular! This company was so impressive! I had decided to host my relatives from Ireland and they'd both been in a balloon in Europe so they knew what to expect, but even they were surprised. The giant balloon itself was just as amazing as the views of the hills and vineyards. We had our own space in the big basket - apart from the others passengers and our pilot Scott (he was so fun-put everyone right at ease) was in the middle compartment. There was hardly any feeling of movement up in the air and we landed so smooth! almost like a feather. Not even scary to look down. The chase crew worked very efficiently getting the balloon set up and down - an interesting process that we got help out with. These guys know what they are doing - very well organized and quite friendly. Afterward, everyone joined in a brunch celebration with champagne (my kind of tradition) and we learned all about the history and sport of balloons. The food was great too. We spent the remainder of the day winery hopping. I would do this again in a heartbeat, Scott and his whole staff were simply wonderful. report a problem
