Farmhouse Inn, Forestville
Expensive stay at Construction Site...

My girlfriend and I were looking forward to a peaceful stay at the Farmhouse Inn in April 09. We researched the Inn throughly we thought. However, upon arriving, we were shocked to see that the Inn has been going through a very large expansion for the last eight months which was not disclosed to us. Large trucks and armies of construction workers streamed past our cottage from 7am to 5pm. The owner's attitude is that he can charge the same high rates while going through this noisy and obtrusive construction because "everyone does it". What arrogance! I would have preferred honestly up front! Do not patronize this Inn.
