I recently stayed at the Alexandre Logan this past July 2009 during the Montreal Jazz Festival. I found the bed and breakfast to have a sensitivity to details in the rooms, the 1870s historical building, and from the proprietor, Alain Pigeon, for his guests. Mr. Pigeon went out of his way to accommodate arrival times, any special food requests, and held baggage. The hotel has a wonderful outdoor terrace with flowering plants and even strawberries hanging from baskets that were ripening on the terrace. I can see why the Alexandre Logan has won so many Montreal awards and recently the National Geographic Award. Well done, Mr. Pigeon. Cheers, until next time.
