Bruce Peninsula-A Great Lakes Rustic Gem

The Bruce peninsula captured my heart. An easy drive north west of Toronto lies the Bruce Peninsula. At its tip is a national park-an underwater national park with visible shipwrecks scattered around lovely, craggy islands reminiscent of Maine-only still wild and lovely. Small mom-and-pop motels and family eateries are a wonderful contrast to towns with homogenous chain restaurants. The area is known for scuba diving in the National Park. Lovely fishing villages, and lighthouses are interspersed with state parks and white sand beaches. A gem! We spent a week and brought family back the next year. report a problem
