Cape Town restaurants

While Cape Town may not have a signature cuisine of its own, it draws on a broad range of influences—including Malay and Indonesian—in celebrated dishes like bobotie (a curried mince) and bredie (lamb stew). Local specialties include seafood (try the local crayfish), an antelope called springbok, and Karoo lamb, which has a distinctly herbal flavor.
