Cayman Islands hotels
There's no shortage of excellent hotels on the islands, especially along Grand Cayman's glitzy Seven Mile Beach, but expect to pay top dollar for rooms at amenity-packed resorts like the Ritz-Carlton, Caribbean Club, and Grand Cayman Beach Suites. If you're more interested in diving than lounging on the beach, accommodations such as dive-centric Sunset House or the out-of-the-way Reef Resort may be a better value. On remote Little Cayman, the limited number of hotels lining South Hole Sound and the steep cost of importing all supplies by boat or plane keep prices high, although the final bill at Pirates Point Resort and Southern Cross Club Diving and Fishing Resort is offset by their exclusivity, personal service, and untrammeled natural beauty. If you're after a remote-island experience, the most affordable hotels are found on Cayman Brac, where the inventory includes the small, dive-oriented Brac Reef Beach Resort and Walton's Mango Manor, a friendly, family-run B&B.—Christopher Cox
