If you came to Chiang Mai to stay in the city center, wander to the Wats and the night market in style... the D2 is for you. Reasonably priced at $150 per night, the hotel staff was very accommodating and the room was a mod masterpiece. We especially liked the glass walled shower! (Don't worry, it has blinds in case you're traveling with your mother or something.)
The only cons:
- If you want to stay in the beautiful mountains outside, Chiang Mai, it's a very different experience. Carefully consider which one you want.
- The power went out in the entire hotel twice on our stay. I don't blame the hotel, but something to consider if you're picky.
