If you aren't afraid of heights and are moderately in good shape, then hike from village to village in the Cinque Terre. Very beautiful and you meet really interesting people. The path can be really narrow with straight down drop-offs and the occassional rock slide you have to scramble over. If you get tired or scared, turning back can be difficult. At each village, you have the option to take the train forward or back for less than a euro. report a problem
