Colorado

The Hotel Boulderado is a wonderful, old-timey, beautiful hotel. It's got an ooold elevator, with an elevator man, wonderful furnishings that will make you think you're in the Old West, very cordial, helpful staff, beautiful rooms and common areas, just a really neat, unique hotel. It's close to lots of shopping and a good variety of restaurants and night life. We visited the Celestial Seasonings tea headquarters, hiked, went into Denver (about a 45 minute drive) on a whim and bought scalped tickets to a sold out concert that was fabulous, hung out with locals in a bar in Nederland, went to a few garage sales just for fun, and had a wonderful time in Boulder. The beauty of the area is astounding, the Rockies are truly majestic...fresh air, wildlife, just makes you feel good inside. We will absolutely visit there again and we will always stay at the Boulderado. report a problem
