Tourism and real science

Check out the biological field stations of OTS (Organization for Tropical Studies) -- Palo Verde, La Selva, and Las Cruces. They are amazing locations to do some REAL wildlife observation (especially birds) and one also gets a sense for the important scientific research that is carried out in Costa Rica. The station at Las Cruces also has an internationally recognized botanical garden on site. For more typical tourism activities, there are always plenty of zip line, rafting, and other companies in the vicinity. report a problem
