My husband and I stayed at Villa Caletas for our honeymoon in November 2011. We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at this hotel. We got the Junior Superior Suite, which was a gorgeous room with a view of the ocean, and a private terrace with a jacuzzi. It was very clean and luxurious. The staff were so nice and accomodating. And the food was fantastic! I had read some negative reviews about the food, but they must have re-vamped their menu because we didn't have a single bad meal. The view of the ocean from the Ampitheater restaurant is gorgeous. Their private beach is nice for lounging; if you want to swim, go into Jaco. We LOVED Villa Caletas and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
