Châteauneuf-du-Pape; when visiting Avignon be sure to visit the Petite Palace as there is some wonderful art work on display including one of the few pieces by Botticelli that is still in existence. We explored the Petite Palace on our own and when we mentioned what we were looking for to one of few guide/security persons they immediately took us to the third floor where the Botticelli is located. The next thing we knew we were surrounded by several of the guide/security persons who were excited that we knew the art work was there and had honored them by asking where it was on display. report a problem
