I can only say one thing, this is the only place to stay when you visit Cozemel. The beach is excelent to snorkel and diving is not that far away. There is a park close by that is great too. Go there and cost is not that bad. Hotwire is the way to book it too. Cheap and great... Enjoy and tell them Denny sent you.
