If you really want to get away from it all, I would go furter South. While some claim that Tulum is off-the beaten bath, I would advise you to go on the coast between Sian Ka-an and Xcalak. You will have the whole beach / coast just for yourself, If you want to go snorkeling, go toward Xcalak, whereas if you want some nice beaches , go north of Mahahual. report a problem
