Santorini Archaeological sites

Akrotiri and Old Thira are the most relevant arquelogical sites in Santorini. Akrotiri is closed and it has been closed for at least three years. As for Ancient Thira, this site closes at 3 pm so get there early. In addition, take a good guidebook or a real guide with you as there is very little information in the site. Lasty the best way to get to Ancient Thira is through Kamari. There is a huge dump through Perisa. report a problem
