Tapping into the centuries-old tradition of Bohemian glass artisans, Artel seeks out the best designers and glassworkers to create classic-yet-whimsical lines. Standouts include spherical vases covered with hand-painted blackbirds and cut-glass tumblers designed by David Wiseman to look like glaciers. In addition to the cool vessels, the store also stocks one-of-a-kind works of art (a suitcase on wheels shaped like a stuffed mastiff), antiques (traditional Bohemian and Moravian folk costumes), and objets trouvés (old books and Communist-era pennants and posters) you won't find anywhere else.
