Hello Can anyone please tell me what the "acceptable" dress code is in Croatia? For instance, what do women wear during the day while out sightseeing? What do they typically wear to a nice restaurant at night? Thanks report a problemPosted on: August 11, 2010 at 9:26AM
Here goes- summer: daywear - anything goes - but if you are in split or zagreb - they are a little prissy and feel like they are quite fashion forward. but, no matter what you wear they'll either love you or hate you (if they have the time to look at you and stop looking at themselves inthe mirror or storefront, or...etc.) dinner: summer casual. if its an upscale place, i am sure they will have a dress code. for the "regular restaurants, more than acceptable to wear a dress; linen pants and blouse. neat casual.
