Ecuador hotels

Although Ecuador has all kinds of hotels—including modern high-rises in Quito and sprawling beach resorts around Guayaquil—some of the most distinctive lodgings in the country are found at haciendas in the Andean foothills. Many of these atmospheric compounds date back as far as the 16th and 17th centuries, and occupy beautiful, expansive properties with gardens, stables, wine cellars, and even working farms.
