London isn't known for a bargain vacation, but after spending a lot of time there, I've found a way to eat well and not break the bank. Here are some tips for you: - If you want to try a fancy restaurant, have lunch instead of dinner. You'll often get a the same menu for a much more affordable price. - Go ethnic! Indian buffets, Chinese joints and other international favourites can be had for less than European fare. - Have some fish and chips from a take away place, get burgers and fat fries at gbk (Gourmet Burger Kitchen) or get a savoury pie from out outdoor market. - Have lunch at the top floor cafe at the TATE Modern. You'll get a wonderful view of the Thames, great fresh fare, and get to see a world-class art collection. Have a wonderful time! report a problem
