WORST HOTEL EVER

My wife and I went to Fez looking foward to our trip. We soon discovered that this hotel "la maison bleue" is the worst ever. Don't be fooled by their nice pics on the web. It's in the worst neighborhood ever. It's akin to staying in the middle of Harlem if you are visiting manhattan. Even the locals tell you that it's a horrible dangerous area. You will find youself stuck in the hotel after sunset with nowhere to go because it's too dangerous to venture outside.
Stay somewhere in the "new city" off Hassan II boulevard. Lots of hotels there and it's like staying in the Upper East side of Manhattan.
