Concierge.com's insider take:
Pristine and eco-friendly, this all-inclusive resort was founded partly to preserve the 500-acre island's delicate ecosystemrain forest, mangroves, 15 species of butterfly, and, of course, turtles. It's a very romantic place (the water and beaches outshone Brooke Shields in The Blue Lagoon) that accepts only 14 couples at any given time. Each of the 14 traditional two-room thatched cottages (built by local craftsmen) opens onto its own beach. Prime among them is Vonu Point: It's elevated to give the most privacy and the best views of the lagoon. No wonder Turtle Island is the honeymooner's dream (perhaps you've heard of Britney Spears and her husband, uh, Kevin Something?). There are king-size four-poster beds, sunken Jacuzzis, double hammocks, little stone paths lined with leaning palm trees, lobster on the menu every night, and a wine cellar that is deep with imports from across the globe.
