Living Morocco, Orlando, Florida
Concierge.com's insider take:
Morocco native Ali Najy, the proprietor of this escapist home-decor store on Orlando's Antique Row, returns frequently to source the exotic oversize brass lanterns, decorative ceramics, and mosaic tile fountains that make his large shop a veritable Aladdin's cave of discovery. Among the unique items are enormous carved cedar doors from Moroccan riads and beautifully tiled tables created in the souks of Marrakesh. The big items, such as tile garden fountains and antique tables, command the most attention. But keep an eye out for little finds of exquisite beauty, too, such as colored glass bottles for storing perfume and rosewater, silver kettles for Moroccan mint tea, and runners handwoven by Berber artisans.—Terry Ward
