ferry ride from tahiti to moorea

to get to moorea from the main island of tahiti, most travelers will hop on the short ferry ride. you must move your own luggage from the bus (from the airport) to the ferry cargo bins (big tin bins they have open by the ferry itself). the operators of the transfer service are not paid to do this for us, and do not appreciate the "expectation" of us travelers for them to do it for us. no biggie, but a lot of the tourists stand around their bags. wondering why the bus driver or the ferry operators wont move the travelers' bags. i've seen people getting on the ferries w/o checking their bags are also on the ferry and freak out upon reaching moorea when their stuff isnt there. report a problem
