Bruno Fabre in Raiatea/Tahaa offers a wonderful day trip in an outrigger canoe, featuring a wonderful pearl farm, beautiful vanilla plantation (some other tours go to very basic operations), lunch and some close encounters with sea creatures, and great drift snorkeling at the lovely Coral Gardens. It is well worth the price of around $130 per person. Advance reservations are essential at www.tahaa.net. This day was one of the highlights of our beautiful trip. report a problem
