My husband and I recently spent 5 days on Little St. Simon's Island. This was our first but will not be our last visit. In many ways, this will redefine the way we choose to spend our vacations. This was a celebration for my 50th birthday and I wanted it to be special. I wanted to see some things I hadn't seen before and find time to be very active but also time to lose myself in my own thoughts and in conversation with my husband. I carefully researched Little St. Simon's using their website and others' reviews. I was not disappointed. I could never have imagined that we would have so much fun, laugh so much, eat so well, sleep so well and be fortunate to do all that with some of the nicest people we've ever met. At Little St. Simon's, you don't think about who is a guest or who is staff ... you simply relax and enjoy the feeling that you are with friends. Many times I thought ... how will I remember this beautiful place and how can I re-create this lifestyle when we leave here? The island is environmentally pristine ... beautiful in so many ways; hard to explain ... you have to experience it. I think there is some kind of magic going on there, and can't wait until we can experience it again! We are so grateful for the people we met there and how special they made us feel.
