When traveling in Germany or to surrounding countries, I found one of the best ways to save on money is to buy what is known as a Bayern Pass. You can purchase a single person Bayern Pass or a Group Pass. The Group Pass allows you to travel with up to a Group of 5 passengers per ticket. These Passes are nice if you are traveling around because each pass(either the single or group pass) purchased is good until 3 a.m. the following morning! These passes helped me save on money wherever I traveled for the 10 days I was there! report a problem

Also, if you travel by train and can schedule your trip in advance, you can go to bahn.de and get ICE train tickets online at more than 50% discount.
