If you are experiencing the pleasure of driving on the Autobahn, especially if you have managed to find a rural uncrowded stretch, do not spoil the experience by stopping to eat at any Autobahn rest stop. Take the time to travel a few miles off of the superhighway to a town or village and find a local restaurant for much, much better regional cuisine. If you are on a short trip to Germany don't waste a possible rare food adventure by being in a hurry and settleing for rest stop food. report a problem
