Berlin is one of the most culturally, artistically, and historically diverse cities I have ever been, too; I'd be as honest as I've ever been when I say it's my favorite city in the whole world! I make sure I go every time I visit my family, and I always feel like I'm a part of the everyday life there. I think people tend to look over this metropolis, seeking the excitement of other large cities in Europe, like Paris, Brussels, London, etc. However, Berlin is amazing to walk around in, the nightlife is great, the people are trendy, the architecture is a nice mixture of old and new, and the shopping is Wunderbar! (I highly recommend checking out KaDeWe when you go!) Take a horse and buggy ride to hit the main attractions and some of the greatest views from East to West. If you've never been (and have German ancestry, especially,) you won't be disappointed. After all, this is a part of your culture, too! report a problem
