Granada hotels
Unless you want to seriously splash the cash and find a Granada hotel within the Alhambra itself, consider basing yourself in the historic Albaicín neighborhood. This maze of cobbled streets, squares, and beautiful 16th-century houses has a plethora of hotels made from converted palaces, with courtyards, wooden balconies, and, if you choose wisely, a view of the Alhambra itself. Be warned, however: There are many steps in the area, parking is nonexistent, and your taxi probably won't be able to drop you off at the door of your hotel.
