Great Barrier Reef restaurants

Queensland resort cuisine used to mean predictable buffet fare, and since you're most likely to eat where you're staying, there was little incentive to improve. But an influx of big-city chefs and greater focus on local fish and produce—including "bush tucker" ingredients from the rain forest—mean you can choose your resort by the quality of its restaurant.
